Account deletion

Delete your account

You can delete your 4D Lifestyle account and its data yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email. This page explains both, and exactly what happens.

01Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect straight away.

  1. Open the 4D Lifestyle app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Enter your password to confirm. Your account and all of its data are permanently deleted, and you are signed out.

02Delete it by email

If you can’t open the app, or no longer have it installed, you can ask us to delete your account.

  1. Email contact@4dlifestyle.com with the subject “Delete my 4D Lifestyle account”.
  2. Send it from the email address you registered with. This is how we confirm the account is yours. If you use a different address, tell us the registered one and we may ask you to verify it.
  3. We will reply to confirm, delete the account and its data, and confirm again when it is done.

Deleting by email is handled by a person, so it is not instant.

03What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details, including your email address, display name and password hash.
  • Your profile and preferences, check-ins, assessment answers and progress.
  • Your daily practice completions, goals, challenges and achievements.
  • Your journal entries and journal settings.
  • Your AI companion settings, conversations and memories.
  • Your reminder settings and push notification tokens.
  • All device sessions, so you are signed out everywhere.

Account deletion removes all of this together; it is not possible to recover it afterwards.

04What is kept

  • A minimal security log entry recording that an account was deleted. It contains the action and a hashed network address, and no name, email address or content.
  • If you asked by email, the email you sent us, until we have finished handling your request.

05Delete part of your data instead

You can keep your account and remove only some of it: delete single journal entries or the whole journal, set your journal to delete old entries automatically, delete AI companion conversations, view and delete its memories, or turn the companion and reminders off — all inside the app.

06The website

The 4D Lifestyle website has no accounts, so there is nothing to delete there. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, tell us in your email.
